Ugh... so now that I finally (or seemingly) fixed whatever issue was going on with crashes and hung processes on my laptop, I decided to make another personal IAx model edit, since now I'm wanting to change the model I used in the BREEZE MMD project I was working on before (as well as a recolor/clothing variation for my Hibikase cover.) Actually, with this edit, I'm hoping to seek consent with distribution if I ever get it cleaned up... I'm such a noob with PMXe, that there are a lot of strange and possibly insane things I may have done just to get the model to do what I needed for the previous MMD stuff I did months ago, but certainly wouldn't fly well if anyone else were to use it. :bademoticon:
Problem that I'm hitting now: I made a waist-tie... waist-cloth... pareo-ish thing? Yeah, whatever you'd call it, tried to give her a more "street fashion" look while having something that helps kick the whole ensemble together.
But because I'm so doggone insane about tiny detailing, I want the hanging tied parts to move separately from each other and the main cloth in the back. Seeing as PMXe is not my favorite editing platform in the least, I'm only savvy with swapping and resizing materials and parts, along with using the skirt plug-in. (Because all other edits like facials and extra part creation/rigging/etc., I prefer to do in Blender 3D, export, and reorganize/re-rename scrambled bone names to retain the data.) If I could, I'd do all of my physics editing in Blender. Unfortunately, that doesn't translate well at all once imported into PMXe, and I'm stuck with stiff physics on that part.
So I was wondering if there was any way to do that via the skirt plug-in? Or if I absolutely have no choice and have to learn the long way around getting that to happen? I'd hope I'm just overthinking this and it's right in front of my face, but I've tried playing around with the skirt plug-in, and I'm not getting the results I'm hoping for. And I'm still having a hard time grasping a good number of options in PMXe altogether, since I haven't been using it all that often lately...
If any expert MMD model creators/editors know, I'd greatly appreciate the help on this one. I think the model edit turned out pretty cute overall, it's just this one thing and a couple of other odd issues that are bugging me to no end.
