EIEN - Original Character (or potential fanloid?)

Name: Eien Otodama (音霊 エイエン)

Etomology: 音= Sound, 霊=Soul/Spirit, エイエン= derived from 永遠, eternity

Likes: music (singing and instrumental), free-style dancing, martial arts, cooking and eating exotic foods

Dislikes: large animals, being pestered, long conversations, mean-spirited people, having bad performances

Other fun facts: Plays the guitar and piano; is one of three lead singers in a band. Also has two younger brothers and an older sister.

Ugh... what are proportions again?  (I kind of ignore them as of late... or in truth, I've hardly ever given them any attention seeing as my older drawings tell on me. So, if there are some annoyances in my drawings on that part, forgive me... I'm a professional musician, not an artist.)  

Honestly, I'm no good with clothing designs in general... I really was trying to aim for an Ainu/J-Rock influence, but I just can't seem to draw what I see in my mind's eye recently. Well, with the designs I currently have for him, I've based the music side of them off of the fermata, since it doesn't seem that element of music has been used that often... plus, y'know, with fermatas holding out the notes for an extended length of time and all, and the meaning of his name... you get the picture.

As for what he is now as opposed to when I first drew him as a child... a while ago, I was thinking if I ever had the opportunity to make an UTAU (or gain the patience to work with the program) I'd want to make a youthful male voicebank someday... one that has clarity and flexibility in terms of power and tone. Since that day has yet to come, I just decided it was time to go ahead and just release my ideas. Who knows... I might use him as my own interpretation of the VOCALOID VY2 instead, despite the fact that VY2's tone doesn't quite fit the vocal idea I have for Eien. (For those of you familiar with the utaite clear, I was thinking a similar voice type to his voice. The problems with that are a.) I'm female, b.) even if I used a voice changer, I'm not all that great of a singer, and c.) I don't know anyone personally who could achieve those results I'm looking for.)

Anyways, this is one of a few I have right now... I have a lot more, but I don't know when I'll have the time to scan and fix them up next. Hopefully it won't be too far in between this update.
